We read all kinds of books but I try to make sure there are always several inspirational options to choose from. I always feel like keeping myself saturated in God's goodness brings me a lot of peace and I want that for my monkeys too. I was really excited to see 5-Minute Inspirational Stories on my review list and jumped at the chance to read and review it with my sweeties.
I have been really like Mike Berenstain's inspirational take on the Bears over the past year too. We have gotten a few of his stories over the past year and I was very excited to discover that some of the others on my list are included in this book. This one has several of his more popular stories, minus the holiday stories we've already come to know and love. The bottom line is that I do recommend this book. I like the messages and my kids love the stories and illustrations so it's a definitely winner in our home.
Four-year-old's thoughts: "I like it. They're pretty nice."
Two-year-old's thoughts: "I like it too! That's our family!"
(They both say the bears are our family since there's a Mama, Papa, big brother, little sister, and baby sister). =]

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
