Book Review: Positive Discipline Tools for Teachers

I know we're still just in the preschool stage and it's pretty much exclusively fun and games, but still, I feel pretty comfortable saying that I love homeschooling my kids.

I'm mostly just doing fun stuff right now but I'm always thinking about the future and doing my best to plan ahead and gather up our future materials while still keeping things frugal.

I was excited when I saw Positive Discipline Tools for Teachers by Jane Nelsen, Ed.D. and Kelly Gfroerer, Ph.D. available as one of my potential book review options.

I'll freely admit that this one doesn't really apply to me or to my family's situation at the moment. We have zero discipline issues in the education department right now, and even once we do, they'll be on a totally different level since I'm mom and I won't have a classroom full of students to think about at the same time.

I did get some good ideas from the book (and definitely saw some great suggestions I could have used back when I was teaching a summer school program back in the day!) but I guess I won't know for a while how well they'll apply to us! I struggle to review this one in that regard because while I wouldn't say that it's for homeschoolers, I also wouldn't say it's exclusively not for homeschoolers.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers <http://booklookbloggers.com> book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
