I’m a huge fan of starting my day with a daily devotional. I find it really sets up my heart and mind for a good place throughout the day, and now my kids are in the habit of starting their morning with a devotional of their own. I usually read mine before they get up, or while they all slowly get up if I don’t beat everybody out of bed in the morning, and then I read theirs to them while they eat breakfast.
This year I discovered that I especially love devotional journals. I’m a word girl and processing by writing is so incredibly beneficial to me. Plus, some journaling devotionals also double as a coloring devotional and then I get a second reminder of that particular lesson when my kids ask me to color with them!
In 2018 I’ll be finishing Tranquility and Gratitude, and then starting Pressing Pause. I’m also planning to work through Beautiful Mess again, this time on my own.
For the kids I plan to read The One Year Devotions for Preschoolers each morning. My mom also got them a science devotional but we'll actually be using that as homeschool curriculum rather than a typical devotional.
Grown-up devotionals I’ve enjoyed in the past: The Mom’s Devotional Bible // Love Languages Minute Devotional // 31 Days with God for Mothers // Your Pregnancy Devotional // Scripture Doodle // Life Verse
Kid devotionals we’ve enjoyed: Blessings Every Day // God and Me for Little Ones // 5 Minute Devotions for Children

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
