Deck the Halls with my friends and family!

This year Ryan and I are 100% committed to buying our kids' Christmas gifts from real people and local independently owned & operated stores. We hope you'll consider doing the same, supporting real people rather than big box stores.

Here are some of my friends' and family's businesses I'd love to see you support instead this year... Plus a few of our own links at the end 💙

Arizona friends- my sweet and multi-talented friend Raeanne (who made A's logging shirt two Christmases ago) takes beautiful family portraits!

Go get yourself a fresh new hairdo before those portraits with my Arizona cousin Emily's gorgeous hairstyling magic!

My mother-in-law sells Arbonne's health and wellness products and the Pampermint foot scrub + lotion is my favorite.

Ryan's aunt Michele just started making shirts and selling them on Etsy!

If you've been a reader here for a while you've likely read about my childhood BFF, Heidi. Heidi makes and sells beautiful jewelry made from gorgeous pieces of Arizona nature on her Instagram page.

Ryan's cousin, Emily, is a kind-hearted delight who sells Monat's vegan hair, skin, and wellness products. Her favorite product recommendations are Renew Shampoo, Rejuvenique Oil Intensive, Berry Refined Scrub, and Total Greens.

Sparrows Rising is one of my very favorite bands. Ryan's cousin Stacia is one of the singers and she is a delightful human being making beautiful music for Christians.

My friend Gretchen has been blogging about the Usborne books she uses in their homeschool for years, but now she's also selling it! My kids love Nibbles the Book Monster and the Shine-a-Light series.

My uncle Kerry does great graphic design work! Surprising an aspirational loved one with the promise of a great new design seems like such a supportive gift!

My friend Natasha is this kind, creative, amazing person who is forever encouraging my business endeavors and inspiring me with her own. One of her current ventures involves purchasing pallets of retail liquidation and selling the items online

And if you'd like to help support my family this Christmas, please consider gifting a Libro.fm audio book subscription or buying a book through Bookshop.org! I really don't want you to buy from Amazon this year, but if you're going to anyway, please do it through our shop! You don't pay any extra, they just throw a tiny thank you commission our way 💙

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
