Fun- famous homeschoolers

So excited about this upcoming novel with so many elements I'm interested in!

I've been spending a lot of time digging into the history of the Vietnam war and definitely found myself sobbing when I put in my male family members' birthdays into this draft picker. My grandpa, who did serve, was #48. If my dad had been born at that time he'd have been #5. Five! And then I couldn't help but think of all the mothers whose sons were called first. The very first birthday drawn... So devastatingly sickening.

This absolutely delightful grandmother-granddaughter episode of the What Should I Read Next podcast, with so many titles my grandma and I would probably love!

I love pesto so much here lately. Pesto pasta, pesto & veggie wraps, pesto "pizza." Two recipes I'm trying soon: pesto tofu, and pesto pasta salad.

Have you ever played Catan? I haven't but A and I borrowed it from the library and can't wait to try it!

This Friday reading time sounds delightful!

100 healthy snacks for on the go, yay!

Someday I want to renew our wedding vows in Banff 😍

Five books my mom bought for us from Christianbook.com's $.99 sale: The Alliance (Amish Post-apocalyptic fiction! I am so weird and so excited) // Get Well Soon (hippie maker meets Jesus, don't mind if i do) // Quest for Celestia (modern day reimagining of Pilgrim's Progress) // Start Here Start Now (5 minutes a day to love better, work smarter, live bolder) // Wild Words of Science (90 science devotions for kids... We love the other science devotional she bought us two years ago but have read and re-read it a ton so we're excited to add these ones in now too!)

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
