June Goal Check-in

June was an insane month for people I love but a great month for goals!

๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿ‘ง‍๐Ÿ‘ฆ Family
✔- Monthly date night
✔- Monthly kid date
✔- Weekly outing/playdate
❌- Take a big road trip to meet our niece/cousin!

๐Ÿ’ช Health
✔- Follow my nutritionist-recommended protocol
❌- Morning walk + strength training 20/30 days (19/30... But then I injured myself pretty good so strength training probably won't be a goal for all of July)
✔- Try 12 new recipes

๐Ÿ“ Homeschool
✔- Weekly field trip or activity
✔- Reading, writing, arithmetic, read-aloud. Everything else is just societal pressure ✌

๐Ÿก Home/Homestead
✔- Get the bookshelves culled & organized
❌- Create a living room- The only way to do this in our tiny house is to get rid of our kitchen table and have only a living room plus coffee table instead of a dining space. The couch feels so much more important to me while we are homeschooling or hanging out in the evenings, but after every meal I do all this gross table wipe down plus sweeping and feel like this is just not doable yet until the kids are older. I am still deciding.
✔- Replace kitchen blinds
❌- Fence in bigger garden plot (Posts are in! But we're experiencing a heat wave so we'll have to wait a week or two to finish)
❌- Plant two nut trees

๐Ÿ’™ Ministry
✔- Take an online writing workshop (Great Courses: Writing Great Fiction
✔ - Post 2+ blogs/week
❌- 2 podcasts/month (We're on our post-season 1 break)
✔- Monthly food Bank donations
❌- Volunteer somewhere with the kids

๐Ÿ“š Reading
❌- Read 100 books that are 100 pages or more (At 75 so far)
✔- Read one Christian sci-fi (Black by Ted Dekker
✔- Read one Christian fantasy (Fawkes by Nadine Brandes
❌- Read 12 grown up books I already own (5/12... Taking Flight [YA] // Getting Into Character // Glimpsing Heaven // The Time Keeper // The Shack
