1- The butterflies all over this tree around 6:30pm each evening... Thank you, God, for gifting me with your beautiful creation wherever I go.
2- My grandpa is still making progress in his recovery and he's hopeful for the future
3- Turning my strength training exercises over to YouTube!
4- Sliding back into our homeschool routine... Definitely feels great! I've been working on a podcast episode about our homeschool plans this year, too.
5- Sweet connection to my grandma through Under the Bayou Moon by Valerie Fraser Luesse*... Such a delight! The Cajun culture was atmospheric (fun as I'm not super familiar) and I find Luesse's tenderhearted characters refreshing. This one is set in 1949 and our heroine is a schoolteacher. I've never visited the Bayou but it all feels so alive with this story.
*I received a free copy of Under the Bayou Moon from Revel in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
