Everything I Read Today

6:45am- morning time! Along with prayer, affirmations, gratitude journaling, and a plan for the day: 2 Corinthians chapter 1 // 4 pages of Devos for Brave Girls // 1 chapter of Giving Your Words

8am- listened to the last half hour of my audio book, Aftermath, during my workout. (Such a good, albeit slightly disturbing, Christian suspense!)

9am- Homeschool! I read aloud a chapter of God Always Keeps His Promises // a few poems from I Sat by the Sea // A chapter from The Story of the World Volume 2: The Middle Ages. I read aloud from each kid's math book while we sat side by side and did math together, read what they had written for their writing assignments, and I did some of each kid's buddy read.

1pm- Quiet Time! Mostly, I needed to write and run down my to-do list... But first I squeezed in a chapter of my current kid review book, Marjorie

7:30pm- Bedtime book: Roxaboxen! I love this book 😍

7:45pm- Watching a show with my hubby but I never just sit still and watch TV so I also fold laundry + read 3 blog posts and 2 chapters of Marjorie + stretch.

10pm- Bedtime! I read 2 chapters of A Castaway in Cornwall (for the Christian Faith & Fiction book club read!) and then call it a night!

  1. I downloaded the book "Emerald Windows" by Terry Blackstock, but haven't read it yet. This is the only book of hers that we have translated, unfortunately. And I would really like to read the book "Aftermath", but it is not.

    1. I had not heard of Emerald Windows yet but it sounds good! I hope they'll translate more of her books!

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
