4 Christian New Releases

After the Shadows by Amanda Cabot* (Christian, historical fiction)... This one is set in 1882 Texas and will make a lot of historical fiction fans very happy! You'll see faith, relationships, second chances, and of course some good old-timey Texas. I will be trying more Amanda Cabot novels in the future.

I Pray You'll Be by Hannah C Hall* (Christian, picture book)... This sweet picture book is sort of like an affirmation for your child's life, all kinds of beautiful things a parent (or grandparent, aunt/uncle, babysitter, Sunday school teacher, etc) might pray over a child's heart. We also enjoyed the fun illustrations.

The Time-Saving Mom by Crystal Paine* (Christian, nonfiction)... I have been a big fan of Crystal Paine since I was in college and trying to stretch my $20/week grocery budget so it's no surprise that I enjoyed this book! She is a self-proclaimed Enneagram 8 who really does get more done each day than the average person and this one is full of practical tips for making that happen.

The Weight of Air by Kimberly Duffy* (Christian, historical fiction)... I've always loved a good circus book! This one is centered primarily on a circus strong woman, and one is a lot more gentle in personality than I was expecting when I first picked it up. We are also looking at a family issue (my favorite!) and mental health issues from a 1911 perspective... beautiful written, packs a punch, and should appeal to historical fiction fans who like a lot of depth in their reading.

*I received a fee copy of each of the above books in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
