If you like guy books/ political action thrillers like Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler, try Joel Rosenberg (my grandpa loved The Auschwitz Escape and The Last Jihad series), Ace Collins, and Stephen James (I said Stephen Lawhead by mistake but he writes fantasy)
If you like emotional dramas with a love story attached like Nicholas Sparks, try Charles Martin (The Dead Don't Dance was the one that had me sobbing on the treadmill!)
If you like fun, flirty, romantic comedy chick lit like Sophie Kinsella, Jane Green, and Emily Giffin, try Bethany Turner (Plot Twist was delightful, also enjoyed The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck)

ReplyDeleteFirst off I definitely identify with your book packing for trips! When we go on vacation in the summer I always fill my backpack with books plus my kindle ;-) Can't run out of reading material!
I just finished Plot Twist and loved it! I have read a couple by Robert Whitlow and his books are excellent as well. I have one by Charles Martin on my library stack and am anxious to read it now that you compare him to Nicholas Sparks! I read many of his books back in the day.
