Sick day comforts

I have been battling a horrible sore throat sickness and since it's that time of year I thought I'd share my current favorite sick day comforts! 


Juice- carrot, orange, ginger // celery // cucumber-apple-parsley  

Medieval mix essential oils, basically just sniffing it here and there. 

Rest! (As much as a full-time mama can rest, anyway 😆) Napping, reading, listening to audio books, listening to music and the kids, watching shows/movies at bedtime. 

Smoothies- finding hot-cold therapy pretty helpful so enjoying a nourishing smoothie after a warm mug of tea. 

Soups, primarily curry potato and this spinach soup with its super healing raw garlic! Also loving warm Indian food dishes like a stew, warm and spicy and quite soothing. 

Tea... Especially warm water with ginger and the juice of half a lemon. Also loving lemon balm tea or peppermint tea. 

Vegetable broth. 

Vitamins- B12, C, and zinc. 

Water, water, water!
