Recently Watched

We've watched a few things not worth mentioning here recently but these were all pretty good + decently clean. If they were really good but not as clean I gave details below.

๐Ÿ“บ America's Book of Secrets (secular, documentary, TV)... There's a Playboy Mansion episode but it's clearly labeled so easy to skip entirely. Otherwise quite fascinating!

๐Ÿ“บ Dark Waters (secular, based on a true story)... This one did contain a few curse words, including an angry use of the F word, but it was so good and I learned so much! I highly recommend this based-on-a-true-story movie to anyone who can tolerate a few curse words.

๐Ÿ“บ Far From Home (secular, family)... I really liked this adventure, about a young man lost with his dog in the Canadian wilderness, and I can't wait to watch it with my older kids!

๐Ÿ“บ Farmageddon (secular, documentary)... This wasn't what I had expected but it was still interesting, basically about regulations on small farms and specifically on raw milk.

๐Ÿ“บ Global Junk Food (secular, documentary)... This was not riveting but still interesting and so heartbreaking! I was so sad to learn that US fast food companies make even junkier junk in other countries ๐Ÿ˜ž

๐Ÿ“บ The Lost Medallion (Christian, kids/family)... I was surprised by how good this family film was! There is peril and violence in this action-adventure movie but no gore and it is otherwise clean with a good but not overtly Christian message.

๐Ÿ“บ Peter Pan (secular, kids/family)... Peril and pirate violence but I was okay with it for the 10+ crowd. Still contains questionable themes surrounding the indigenous people of Neverland so may be important to discuss.

๐Ÿ“บ Upside Down (secular, sci-fi, dystopian-ish)... This movie was a little weird but the art was awesome and it was refreshingly clean. There is a bit of kissing and in the end you do realize some intimacy happened off-screen.

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
