Cozy Autumn Book Tag

Lindsey put out an adorable "cozy autumn book tag" video and then Stacy joined in so I wanted to play, too!

What book always reminds you of fall/autumn? I always think of Anne of Green Gables because of this quote, but a recent Christian fiction pick is Before We Were Us. And, of course our favorite autumn picture books! 

What is your favorite autumnal book cover? I was just admiring the autumn covers for books I've never read- Autumn Skies, The Second Story Bookshop, and You Don't Know Me. 

What is your favorite autumnal drink to read with? I don't have a seasonal drink, just water or herbal tea... but cinnamon teas feel like fall and winter to me! 

Do you prefer to read late at night or early in the morning? Both... nonfiction in the morning,  fiction at bedtime! 

What is your favorite spooky read? I used to live for these which is so weird to me now! I don't like to feel scared. I love circus books so really enjoyed The Haunting at Bonaventure Circus but admittedly haven't made it through any more of her books. I thought the Rock Harbor series got spooky at times too. 

What is the ultimate comfort read for you?Middle grade fiction, I think. 

What is your favorite autumnal reading snack? I don't really have reading snacks, especially since I mostly read in bed. Favorite autumn meals in general though are soups, teas, and healthier baked goods with pumpkin, maple, etc flavors. 

What is your favorite autumnal candle to burn while reading? I always loved candles but I don't burn them these days. 

When you're not reading,  what is your favorite autumnal activity? Oooooh, what to choose?! Foliage nature walks? I think yes. 

What is on your autumn reading list? Great question! I was just thinking last week that after I finish When I Fall in Love I want to find something cozy and autumnal. I guess we'll see what I find!
