Morning Basket, August 2022

Jesus Storybook Bible... We all really enjoy the writing in this particular children's bible storybook.

How Great is Our God... These science devotionals are a fun and interesting way to show kids that science is God and His creation. Plus, some of these facts are downright fascinating!

Let's Look at Some Insects... This out-of-print book was such a fun nature study read! We read a different page each day that we read it and enjoyed learning about different insects.

I Sat by the Sea... We all enjoyed this lovely little poetry book from The Good and the Beautiful.

Science for Little Hearts and Hands: Fields and Flowers... We are absolutely loving this nature-focused science unit! Every lesson also includes a story from The Big Book of Science Stories or a video from their website.

The Story of the World Volume 2: The Middle Ages... We love this history program. Volume 2 is just as good as volume 1 so far.

Skill Builders Spanish I... This isn't really the best resource to use in a group setting the way I'm using it but it's working fine so far.

My First Atlas... I printed a blank North America map with a blank world map on the other side, then laminated it. We keep that in the atlas and the kids color in the correct country with a dry erase marker.

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
